Over the past 7 years, I’ve acquired an eye and an ear for the rhythm and detail necessary to make any form of audiovisual media feel whole and resonant.

Li Aaynayki - TV Series

Li Aaynayki, a Lebanese drama airing throughout the MENA region, was a months-long undertaking, filled with plenty of 16-hour work days. Throughout, I lead a team of three editors against a tight deadline, and worked closely with the director. Despite an endless barrage of difficulties and hurdles, we managed to bring the project across the finish line with time to spare.

Crafted for broadcast TV and social media, this video ad is part of a social awareness campaign conducted by The Lebanese Democratic Women’s Gathering (RDFL) to advocate against child marriage. The editing process saw the director and me scrambling to reconfigure a 2 minute script into a 1-ish minute final. I was also present on set during shooting, coordinating with the DOP to ensure that the crew’s work would be technically compatible with the director’s vision for the final product.

My personal YouTube channel, where I analyze and dissect various aspects of writing and filmmaking in popular movies, TV, and video games. The channel is entirely faceless, so the challenge with the editing comes down to keeping audiences engaged without having that visual human presence. Essentially, these videos rely on light 2D animations, kinetic typography, motion graphics, and sound design to keep people captivated enough to want to give the actual content a chance.
