EXPERIENCE

As a young and aspiring author, copywriting felt like the most effective way to turn my skills with the English language into a viable career path. Over the past several years, I've written copy for products, websites, catalogues, emails, ad campaigns, social media posts, and more. Due to my love for the more technical side of writing, I've also done plenty of copyediting along the way, revising copy to ensure proper structure, grammar, spelling, tone, and overall cohesion.

Real Care - Men

A comprehensive range of skincare products catered to men, and part of the wider Real Care brand. These products’ selling point is their ease of use and general simplicity, making them a viable option for men who find skincare routines too cumbersome and unappealing.

Luxury Avocado

A range of luxurious skincare products created with avocado oil. The family includes a lotion, cream, soap, two shower gels, oil, and a serum. All work to hydrate the skin and help treat facial imperfections.

Menthe Fraiche

A small range of menthol-based products that offer topical healing and anti-inflammatory capabilities. The menthol was a very crucial aspect of the product’s branding, and so a simplistic approach with the naming scheme and visual identity ensured effective positioning with the West African customer base.

My Family Care

A wide range of skincare products and beyond meant to cover most basic care needs for the entire family. The range is available in four variants, and contains a variety of products. The copy aimed to be clear, direct, and concise, with the branding focusing on multi-purpose use and family-friendliness.

Developed the rebranding of B-modest Fashion to mark its eco-friendly shift.

  • B-modest is a women’s fashion brand that prioritizes modest styles, comfortable functionality, and sustainable production. Our focus on timeless, high-quality designs made from eco-friendly materials allow you to look your best anywhere and anytime while making a positive impact on the planet.

  • It was founder Faten Fawaz’s desire to create a women’s fashion brand that was both modest yet stylish that led to the birth of B-modest. The modern woman is fashionable, productive, and ready for any occasion—this is what the brand tried to emulate. B-modest sought to create clothes that were functional in addition to elegant; clothes that had a timeless property to them, that you could and would want to wear to varying types of occasions.

    The emergence of the Covid pandemic changed a lot of things for B-modest. It inspired a direction of positive change. We wanted to do our part for the world and for the environment. Thus came the decision to remake our brand into one promoting eco-friendliness and sustainability. All our clothing changed to become vegan and 100% cruelty free—our small part in promoting a safer, healthier world.
